For Cedarburg students, teachers and parents, now is one of the most wonderful times of the year. We're referring, of course, to back-to-school time!
What’s happening in Bulldog Nation? Here’s the latest as the Cedarburg School District community enters another exciting school year:
What better way to head into the new school year than by celebrating being one of the top districts in Wisconsin? Niche.com, an online ranking site, evaluates school districts for 2020 based on academics, teachers, college prep, athletics and extracurriculars, safety and diversity. Cedarburg came in eighth statewide, earning an A+ in academics, teachers, college prep and health and safety.
This exciting news comes after Cedarburg High School was ranked 2019 top high school in the state, according to U.S. News and World Report.
Long-Range Master Plan Construction Project Updates
Construction on the high school and elementary school sites began on June 10 and has been going strong all summer. Want to stay updated on project progress? The district has a page where we share weekly updates.

Voters approved the projects as part of a $59.8 million referendum in November 2018. Renovations include additional classrooms and safety and security upgrades. Middle school projects will begin in summer 2020.
Mark your calendars for Homecoming 2019
Fall means football, parades and great traditions! Show your Bulldog pride by joining fellow Cedarburg alumni and current students for our 2019 homecoming festivities.
This year's events include:
- Wednesday, September 25, 7 p.m. - Powderpuff game and bonfire
- Friday, September 27, 5 p.m. - Homecoming parade
- Friday September 27, 7 p.m. - Homecoming football game vs. Slinger
Students will end the week’s festivities with a homecoming dance on Saturday evening.
