There's nothing quite like homecoming in Cedarburg. The week—and all the activities, events and celebrations that take place—has become a true point of pride in our community.
If you attended Cedarburg High School, you'll likely recall taking part in homecoming festivities yourself. Like always, the Student Council is planning some fun, creative events for the entirety of Spirit Week. This year, the festivities kick off Monday, October 1.
Throughout the week, students will take part in a wide range of activities.
Monday — USA Day
Tuesday — Pajama Day
Wednesday — Powder Puff Day
Thursday — Jersey Day
Friday — School Spirit Day
The annual Bulldog Powder Puff Game is Wednesday, October 3 at 6:30 p.m.
Friday (School Spirit Day) involves a full day of activities, with a drum line throughout the school halls and the after-school pep rally. The rally will include a Tug of War, Tarp Race and Dance Off between students and staff, along with a downtown parade that starts at 5 p.m. That's followed by a Bulldog Blitz cookout.
At 7 p.m. Friday is the homecoming football game, when the Bulldogs will take on conference rival Whitefish Bay.
The festivities culminate with the Homecoming Dance on Saturday, October 6, starting at 8 p.m. There, students will recognize this year's homecoming court and crown the 2018 homecoming king and queen.
Homecoming is such an important event for the entire Cedarburg community, including our students, families, community members and, of course, our many alumni. We hope you can participate this year. Go Bulldogs!
